James (Jim) Sanders of Peoria, Arizona, formerly of Grove City, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the age of 73. Jim was born July 17, 1945 along with his twin brother, John, to Joseph and Margaret Sanders at Mt. Carmel Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. He received a Business/Marketing Degree from Franklin University. He married his wife, Ruth, on July 13, 1968. They raised their two children in Gahanna, Ohio. Jim and Ruthie were “joined at the hip” and enjoyed traveling and spending time together. At the end of his career, he retired from Munro & Company where he was Director of Sales. Jim enjoyed playing golf and watching Ohio State Buckeyes football and basketball games. His number one passion and priority was his family. The best part of his life was watching all four of his grandkids play in their various sporting events. Golf was his retirement hobby and he loved playing competitive Euchre with family. Jim was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather (Pop), Brother and Friend. He touched so many lives and we were truly blessed to have had him in our lives. Jim is survived by his wife, Ruth, of 51 years together. Jim is also survived by his Son, John, and wife, Jamie, of Maumelle, Arkansas, daughter, Tracy, and husband, Jose, of Las Vegas, Nevada, brother, John and wife, Connie, of Summerville, South Carolina and his four beautiful grandchildren, Jonah, Antonio, Jillian and Quentin. “Rest In Peace” Pop.
