James Popoff

James passed away August 27, 2018 surrounded by family. James was born July 23, 1948, the youngest of twin boys, to Alex Sr. and Gerthel Popoff, in Phoenix, Arizona. James served his country in the US Army from 1968 to 1970. James was a great family man and lived his life devoted to his wife and children. He was the most loyal and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother to ever walk this earth. He was a friend to everyone. James is survived by: his twin brother Alex Popoff Jr.; loving sisters Carol Duke, Vera Schutt and Grace Popoff; his beloved wife Peggy; his adoring children Annette Urquides, Sandra Gilmore and Adrienne Cameron; and his cherished grandchildren Hunter and Garrett Urquides; Mackenzie and Nicholas Cameron. Visitation will be Friday, August 31st from 7-9 pm; Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 1st at 10 am, at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City. Burial will follow at the Russian Molokan Cemetery.
