James McFadden

Born November 28, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA to parents Patrick and Rita (nee) Dugan. James was 1 of 9 siblings. He was a twin. Siblings were Bernadette, Francis, Ann, Rita, Jean, Joseph, Bernard and Karen Rose. He had 2 children by his ex-wife Carol Brong – Jennifer Lee and Shawn. He was step-father to Alex and Michael. He moved to AZ in 1987 and married Cynthia Rose. They were married for 29 years. James had 9 grandchildren – Dewey, Shawna, Zoe, Dee-Dee, Mikela, Shawn, Tommy, Jackson, and Nathan. He has 2 great grandbabies – Nathan, and Myhan. James was retired. He was active in church. He was a board member of AZ Walk to Emmaus. James was employed @ Alex Optical. He was also a tree surgeon. James enjoyed many clubs in Sun City – Pinochle, lapidary, camera, and garden. He loved fishing, camping, family & friends, lotto, and Pepsi. Mathew 14:27-29 was his motto. In lieu of flowers, send donations to Desert Christian Fellowship Church for Youth and Senior Center or to Lakeview United Methodist Church (benevolence fund). James went to meet his Savior on 2/22/16 in Sun City, AZ. RIP. You will be missed. You were our beloved. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Wed., 3/23/16 at Desert Christian Fellowship, 1445 W. Northern Ave., Phoenix, AZ.
