James McCutcheon

McCutcheon, James R. 73, of Peoria, AZ and Palatine, IL passed away on October 20, 2010. He was raised in Marion, IL. Jim graduated from Marion High School in 1954 and received a BS degree from Southern Illinois University. Jim and Ardis were married 50 years ago. Jim started his career with 7 years as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, and then they moved to Palatine, IL to raise their family. Jim was a pilot with American Airlines for 31 years where his love of flying was evident in all he did. Jim will always be remembered by his family and friends as the helpful handyman to all. Jim is survived by son Doug and granddaughter Grace of Wheaton, IL; daughter Beth (Chuck) Kozlowski and grandsons Alex and Troy of Scottsdale, AZ. Memorial service will be held 3pm, Friday, October 22, 2010, at Menke Funeral Chapel, Sun City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Valley.
