James W. Fischer, 66, of Buckeye and Willcox, Arizona, passed away from surgical complications, February 9, 2007. Jim was brought to Glendale, Arizona, at an early age by his parents, Clyde and Harriet Fischer. He graduated from Glendale Elementary and High Schools. He served in the US Navy and was later employed by Bell Aerosystems, Motorola and Goodyear Aerospace as well as being self-employed. He is survived by his wife Kay; children Lucinda William Walding, David Wendy Fischer and Patty Crumpler; sisters Barbara Drain, Margo Fischer and Susan Sporleder; brothers Richard and Jack; six grandchildren plus equally loved step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and younger brother David. His good nature and willingness to help anyone resulted in many lasting friendships and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Saguaro Ranch Park, Ramada #1, 9802 N. 59th Ave., in Glendale, AZ.
