James Dowd

James Robert Dowd, 71 of Sun City, passed away December 4, 2008. Born in Denver, Co, Mr. Dowd resided in Sun City since 1995. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the V.F.W. Post in Peoria, AZ. He retired from Graves/ANR Trucking in Kansas City, MO after 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Ellen; children Dianna Jean Greg Clutz, Christopher Julie Dowd, Michael Brenda Dowd, Cletus Kuznia, Denise Webster, Beth Chris Sullivan, and Craig Lisa Kuznia; brothers Ed Cathy Dowd, Raymond Dowd, Thomas Cheryl Dowd; 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. A visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 8, 2008 from 7-9 pm at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, with the service on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 at 11:00 am, also as Menke Funeral & Cremation Center. Interment will follow at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on Tuesday at 12:30. Memorial contibutions may be made in Mr. Dowd's memory to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W. Northern Ave., Ste.
