James Melvin Bender, 67, of Glendale, Arizona passed away October 9, 2014. James was born in Crowley, Louisiana and resided in Arizona for the past 49 years. He is survived by his wife Frances; son Shannon Bender (Lorri) and daughter Denise Bender; sisters Linda Bender and Loretta Morgan (Butch); grandchildren Wyatt Bender (Alicia), Trey Bender (Rachael), Haidyn Bender, Megan Newman and Philip Newman and great grandchildren Oliver James Bender and Juliet Bender. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, AZ.
