James Beasley

James Beasley, 84, of Sun City West, AZ passed away June 15, 2015. James was born Sept. 23, 1930, in Oakland City, IN to Ebbie and Oline Beasley. He graduated from Oakland H.S. in 1949, and went into the service, serving in Germany in the US Army. He married Shirley Davis and they shared 52 wonderful years together. After returning from the service he went back to college graduating from Indiana University in Business/Accounting. He worked for Sears and then became a Stock Broker, a career he held for over 45 years. Jim accepted the Lord in 1963 and lived his life for Him and loved sharing his faith with others. He enjoyed blessing his family, friends and anyone in need of assistance with the blessing God had given him. He married Patti Crawford until her death in 2014. Survivors include son Ed (Jan) Beasley, daughter Jan (Gary) Patrick; step-daughters Angie Williams and Jamie Crawford; brother Bill (Penny) Beasley; sisters Barb McCrary and Phyllis Davis; grandchildren Todd (Andrea) Beasley, Stephanie (Mat) Adams & Nathan (Katie) Patrick; 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives and step-son Patrick Crawford. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. with funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 19, 2015 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Desert Cove Assembly, 10833 N. Dysart Rd., El Mirage, AZ 85335. We deeply appreciate the loving care given by Mary Zubia and family through the years.
