Jacqueline Rita (Turgeon) Myroup

Jacqueline "Jackie" Rita (Turgeon) Myroup passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 19, 2016 and was welcomed into God's loving arms at the age of 85. She was born on October 16, 1930 in Lewiston, Maine to parents Raoul and Mary Turgeon. She married Robert W. Myroup on September 3, 1955 in Rhode Island. Jackie honorably served her country with the United States Navy and 22 years of federal service. She also dedicated herself to a lifetime of many volunteer services. Jackie was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her family and thrilled to welcome all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jackie's never ending devotion to the Lord, The Catholic Church, and her family made her the wonderful woman she was. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert and children Robert W. Myroup Jr. and Christine Marie Myroup. She is survived by her three children Cathy (Frank), Kevin (Cindy), and Karen; six grandchildren Carlos (Lisa), Christina (Justin), Michael, Brian, Elise (Alex), and Madeline; five great-grandchildren, and sister Cecile Paradis. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, Feb, 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 9728 W. Palmeras Dr., Sun City, AZ with burial service immediately following at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Catholic Charities.
