Irene A. Olivo Bielawski from Sun City, AZ, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2016. Born February 11, 1918, in Cleveland, OH, and moved to Phoenix, AZ, in 1957 with her husband and 4 of their survived children. Irene was a dedicated mother and active member of the Catholic Church and the Sun City Community. She retired from the City of Phoenix after 22 years of service as an Accountant. After retiring from the City, she was a realtor in the community of Sun City for an additional 20 years; retiring for a second time after working for Ken Meade Realty. She is a graduate of Arizona State University. Member of St. Clements of Rome Catholic Church and Eucharistic Minister, member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas, member of the Women’s Guild, member of Valley of the Sun Circles of the Opus Spiritus, member of the Sun Sationals Red Hatters, and in her spare time golfed, plus played Poker and Pinochle regularly. Widow of Raymond Z. Bielawski Sr., survived by two sisters Mary Olivo Vanni, and Palmina Olivo Fioritto, 3 living daughters, Julianna Bielawski Padilla, Barbara Bielawski Mattingly, and Jennie Bielawski Hoyhtya, 11 living grandchildren, Michael Bielawski, Angela Bielawski, Bryan (Sara) Bielawski, Cory (Laura) Bielawski, Nicole Bielawski, Donna Milstead, Regina Padilla (Kory) Murphy, Lisa Padilla, Kevin Padilla, Natalia Mattingly, and Kaycie Kellogg, 13 living great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Gennaro Olivo and Annunziata Rosato; sons Raymond Jr., and Bernard; brothers Frank, Thomas and Carmen Olivo; Sister Natalie Olivo Ricchetti; 1 grandchild and great grandchild. There will be a viewing and rosary on Friday, February 19, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ. A Catholic Mass held Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 10:00 AM at St Clements Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City with burial service to follow.
