Inez Jones

Inez Margaret Jane Jones Jones passed away January 27, 2009 at the age of 102 years 3 months and 11 days. She lived a wonderfully long life, only being in very ill heath for about the last fifteen days. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, son Glenn Clarence 1932, husband Russell R. 1961 and son Harry C. 2006. Inez is survived by her daughter Judith J. Pepper James B., daughter-in-law Charlotte Jones, granddaughter Bene't Pepper O'Connor Michael P., grandsons Michael Jones Laurie and Jeffery Jones, and great grandsons Tanner Jones, Dylan Jones and Aiden James O'Connor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Inez had two careers as a dedicated school teacher, one as a young woman and the second after becoming a widow. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday January 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center in Sun City, Arizona. A second celebration will be held on Friday February 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at The First Christian Church in Moorhead, Iowa after which she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Russell at Spring Valley Cemetery in rural Moorhead, Iowa.
