Hugh "Buck" McFarland

Hugh A. “Buck” McFarland Sr. 79 of Youngtown, AZ passed away with dignity on July 13, 2016. Hugh was born in Sanford, North Carolina, the son of Mutra and Flossie McFarland. As a young man Hugh served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a fervent businessman spanning many disciplines but focusing primarily as a contractor in the heating and air conditioning trade. A long time pilot, boating and water skiing enthusiast, he will be greatly missed by family and friends. With his strong unique personality and one of a kind sense of humor, he was always the center of attention. He is survived by his sister Barbara, brother Larry, former wife Patricia, children Cynthia, Hugh Jr., Kenneth and eight grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ 85351 (623) 979-6451.
