Howard Hansen

Howard L. Hansen of Sun City, AZ passed away on November 5, 2008 in Peoria at the age of 93. Howard moved to Arizona from Grand Rapids, MI in 1971. He was a Tool & Die maker by trade and US Army veteran. He enjoyed playing golf and was a charter member of the Fountain of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City, where he served as trustee and head usher for several years. Howard is survived by his wife Mildred of 54 years; 3 daughters, Elaine Lewis of Surprise, AZ, Janet Maley of Sun City West, AZ and Jerie Hadley of Wyoming, MI. Also surviving are his 5 grandchildren, Cindy Owens, Brenda Stokes, Phillip Coles, Kristine Wong and Jeffrey Clark; 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Howard was preceded in death by 2 sons, Robert and William. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church of Sun City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of Arizona, 12740 N. Plaza Del Rio Blvd., Peoria, AZ 85381 or the Fan into Flame Fund at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 15630 N.
