Herminia Landingin

HERMINIA MALALA LANDINGIN, passed away peacefully in May 20, 2017 at the age of 79. Survived by her husband Albino, only son Ray, daughter-in-law Maria, 2 granddaughters, Katherine and Lauryn and one grandson Ethan, two sisters Menang and Cristita and one brother Juan Jr. Born and raised in the Philippines. Earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She taught for over ten years. She and her son joined her military husband in Pensacola, Florida in 1972. As a military wife they have traveled and stayed in many places. She worked for the VA Medical Center in Long Beach, California until she retired in 2002. Her parents were Juan Malala Sr. and Florencia Garcia Malala. Viewing will be held at Menke Funeral and Cremation Center located at 12420 N 103rd Avenue in Sun City, AZ, 4:00 to 7:00 pm May 25, 2017. Mass will be held in her honor at St. Clare of Assisi, located 17117 W Bell Road, Surprise, Arizona 85374, 10:30 am. May 26, 2017. Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona, 85024 May 26, 2017 1:30 pm. Reception will follow at World Buffet located at 8914 N 91st Avenue, Peoria, AZ.
