Herman Kane

Herman Harry Kane passed on peacefully on December 18, 2018. Herman was born on December 5, 1925, in Shambaugh, Iowa. He was one of eight children to Lester and Anna Bell Kane. Herman served his country honorably through two wars in the Army, Air Force and Navy. Herman then joined Lenkurt Electronics as an Electrical Engineer until he retired. Herman relocated from Northern California 14 years ago to Sun City and then Peoria, Arizona until his death. He is preceded in death by four wives- Elsie, Violet, LaVerne and Patricia. Herman will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Gleda; his daughter, Rosemary; and two grandchildren, Melody and Larry. A memorial service will be held at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N 103rd Ave in Sun City on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at 11:30 am, with military interment to follow at 1:30 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.
