Herbert W. Herr, 77 of Avondale, passed away June 15, 2007. He was a mechanical engineer and worked on tractors and various farm equipment. He served in the Navy during the Korean war. Herbert is survived by his wife, Barbara Herr; children, Barabara Benedict, Jennifer Gunhus, and Christopher Herr; brothers Charles Herr, Richard Herr, Paul Herr; sister Rosalie Thomas; and 4 grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 10:00 am at St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Chruch at 13720 W. Thomas Rd., Avondale, AZ. Interment to follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 1:00 pm.
