Helene Englund

Helene A. Englund, 81, of Sun City, Arizona passed away January 10, 2012. Helene was born Oct. 27 1930 in Henry, South Dakota to an Irish Catholic family of 12. A loving wife and mother of six, Helene moved to Arizona in 1986 from Montana with her husband Edsel, where they enjoyed taking care of their fruit trees and the Arizona sunshine. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, the love of her life, her Ed, in 2009. She is survived by her children David, John, Diane, Jane, Brian and Bruce, as well as 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Always proud of her heritage, this Irish blessing welcomed everyone to her home: "May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand." Private family arrangements have been made.
