Helen J Cook, born June 11, 1924 the daughter of Lonnie and Josephine Jones in Prescott, Arizona. Lived most of her life in Peoria, Arizona, graduated from Glendale high school, and wife of Lyle L. Cook, also from Peoria. Helen and Lyle were involved in many of life's endeavors, including farming and raising 2 girls, as well as, her passion for antiques. She turned that passion into a business. On the Peoria farm, she built one of the first antiques stores in the northwest valley. For over 30 years, Helen worked her antique passion tirelessly. After 30 years she sold her home and business and moved to Sun City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, grandson Don Holder and leaves behind daughters Carolyn Bradberry (Mike), Barbara Wilembrecht (Cliff), 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, who affectionly called her Bugga. Helen, was loved by anyone that knew her...she will be missed by all. Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2013 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel. Burial to follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Arizona.
