Helen Conway

Helen Conway, age 79 of Sun City, Arizona, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 in Sun City. She was born on January 31, 1932 in Chicago, IL. She was married in Chicago to Richard “Dick” Conway, who preceded her in death in 2002. They moved to California where Helen continued to work for CBS, before starting a family and settling in Phoenix, Arizona in 1971. They eventually moved to Sun City in 1997 where she became an avid pool player with the Billiard Belles and enjoyed volunteering her time at Penny-Wise Charities. A devoted mother, beloved sister and adored grandmother, Helen always had a smile and a kind heart. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She is survived by her three children, Kim (Craig) Clover, Richard (Candace) and Grant (Karen); a sister Margaret Loobey and 4 grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan, Alyssa and Trevor. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, 5pm – 7pm at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, 10am at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Interment will follow at Sunland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be sent to Sunshine Service, 9980 W. Santa Fe Drive, Sun City, Arizona 85351. Sunshine Service is a non-profit organization provides medical and children’s equipment at no charge for residents of Sun City.
