Harold “Butch” Robert Lynch of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away, peacefully, on March 26th, 2019. Butch was born was born on May 26, 1938 to Mary Muir and Robert Lynch in Phoenix. Upon graduating from North High School, he completed an internship for pipefitting and enrolled in the Army in 1963. He served as a driver in the States as well as in Germany, earning the blue chip award for his excellence in this area. Upon returning home, he continued his pipefitting career and was very active in his union, Local 469, even after his retirement. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved working with his hands. He was a mentor to many professionally and personally and well respected. He is survived by his daughters, Leslie George and Lari Beth Kirkendall, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grand-daughter. Services will be at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center on Saturday April 27, 2019 at 11:00 am. A celebration of life will follow.
