Gerald Dievert

Gerald Joseph Dievert passed peacefully on January 7th, 2016, midday, embraced by his loved ones. He was born in Moline, Illinois to Gladys and Joseph Dievert. Jeri, as his family and friends knew him, grew up in Mendon, Illinois and was an avid athlete. He married his high school sweetheart, Sue, in 1963 and shared the joy of six children - Tammy (married Joseph Finnerty), Teressa (married David Shelton), Traci (married David Drane), Gerald Jr, Anthony (whom he was preceded in death), and Ted. Jeri's greatest joys in life were his 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Jeri loved his family most and made sure that they knew that. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
