Gerald Bourne

Bourne, Gerald Gary 83, Went to see the Lord, Monday July 27, 2009. He served in the US Navy during WWII and a graduate of Iowa State University. He was a civil engineer and retired from the Arizona Dept. of Transportation. He was involved in many Sun City organizations during his retirement. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, passion for life and a good family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Esther of 30 years. Sisters, Virginia Glen, Geneva Andy; Brothers, Wayne, Alvin Delores;Mother in law; Lily Brother in laws; William Carolyn, Lorne, Roy Katie; Sons; David Cindy, Steven, James Kimiko; Step daughter Cindy Steve, Step son Bill Pam. 4 granddaughters, Abby, Alyssa, Samantha, Laura; 3 grandsons, Tim, Nicholas, Don and 2 great grandchildren, Brock, Lynzy; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his brother Richard. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 11am at the All Saints of the Desert Episcopal Church
