89, of Sun City, Arizona met his reward on January 22, 2014. Born in Johnstown, PA, on January 26, 1924, to Clement and Marie Klenner. Preceded in death by his wife Ruby “Dolly” Klenner, son James Klenner and daughter Elaine Ratliff. Survived by his children Nora Bloomquist, Mildred Franks, George Klenner, Charles Klenner and Mark Klenner; his sister Mildred Sakel, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and his companion Marcy Crosby. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1945 in the South Pacific and Japan. He was a retired Locomotive Engineer of the Southern Pacific Railroad. He was an uncompromisingly generous man who loved his family and helped many people through acts of kindness. Visitation will be 3-4 p.m. with rosary at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, Jan. 27, 2014 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Interment will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ.
