George served his country by enlisting in the US Army in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1969. George and Margaret eventually moved to Sun City, AZ in 2017, to live out their retirement. George was a devoted husband of 54 years. He was an excellent cook, who enjoyed traveling and exploring with his wife. He had a conservative personality and was frugal in sharing his thoughts.
