1934-2012 age 78, of Sun City, AZ passed away on September 8th, 2012. It was peaceful in that she died in her sleep. She was one of three siblings, raised in Phillipsburg, PA, daughter of Dr. John K. Henderson and Edith Stott Henderson. She graduated from Shipley in 1952. She had just attended a 60-year class reunion with her Phillipsburg, PA friends at the beginning of August. Gail attended college at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, where she met her husband, Robert John Roissier (deceased). Their life together started in Norristown, PA owning their own Pharmacy and raising 4 children, Michele, Renee, Suzanne, and Richard. Bob and Gail sold their Pharmacy and moved to Laurel, DE where Bob continued working as a Pharmacist for Edgehill Pharmacy. Gail followed all the sports, band and activities her children were in and was an active volunteer in Girl Scouts, being a troop leader and Council Volunteer! Gail and Bob moved to Sun City, AZ in 1985. Gail became a real estate agent with Ken Meade Reality and just recently retired. Gail shall be remembered for many things that touched us all. Gail was known to be a sharp shooter on the rifle team in her younger days, loved to embroider, sew and knit as her children were growing, and became a Country & Western Dance instructor with her late husband in Sun City. They would drive to Phoenix, learn the new dances, then bring the steps to Sun City where they enjoyed teaching others. They were also one of the Charter Members for the Boot Scooters. As an avid dancer, she was a regular attendee at the Bell Rec Center Tea Dances. Gail is survived by her brother, Jim Henderson of Philipsburg, PA, her sister, Jane Fox of Osceola Mills, PA, her daughters, Michele of Woodinville, WA, Suzi Israelsson of Bethel, AK, her grandchildren living in Tennessee and her granddaughter living in Alaska. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, September 14th, 2012 at the Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 North 103rd Ave., Sun City, Arizona. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association.
