Frieda (Fritzie) Wysocki, 94, of Sun City West, AZ passed away on March 15, 2016 with her daughter Sharon by her side. She was born April 5, 1921 in Youngstown, Ohio to Christine & Louis Steib. During World War II, Fritzie worked for Military Intelligence at the Pentagon, honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. She moved to Chicago, IL and married Ervin Wysocki June 15, 1946. They moved to Broadview, IL raising son Brian and daughter Sharon, then lived in Hillside, IL before retiring to Sun City West in 1980. Fritzie had worked for National Van Lines and the Archdiocese of Chicago. Enjoying her retirement, Fritzie was active in Westerners Square Dance, Pioneer Club, ceramics, RV club and volunteered at Del Webb Hospital. Fritzie was preceded in death by her parents, Christine and Louis Steib, sisters Louise Merwin, Mary Ellen Jones and brother Louis Steib, Jr. She is survived by son Brian (Connie) Wysocki, Palatine, IL, daughter Sharon (Bill) Chesney, Sun City West, AZ, granddaughter Amy (Ryan) Givens, Alexandria, VA, grandson Jeffrey Wysocki, Chicago, IL, sister Lucy Hammer, Longwood, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
