Frank Pop Lee, 78, of Sun City, AZ, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and lifelong friend to many, peacefully passed in his sleep on May 26, 2008. Pop was born February 1, 1930 in Waverly, Missouri. He grew up in Dallas, Texas and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1961. He is preceded in death by his son James, and grandson Mike. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Ruth; five sons Ronnie Pattie, Chuck Randee, Glenn Monica, Gary Julie, Larry, and two daughters Rhonda Chris and Vicki Jerry; two sisters, Patsy Tom, and Donna Billy Joe; and a brother James "Jim" Glenda; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Pop was an avid hunter, fisherman and a lover of the great outdoors. He began his career as a long haul truck driver in 1955, was the owner of El Camino Leasing and Lee Trucking. He served in the US Army from 1947 to 1949, and was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge #200 for 50 years. He will be remembered as the ultimate American Trucker, a loyal and steady mentor and friend to so many. Pop we thank you for your love, guidance, support and strength throughout the years. Your memory will live on forever each and every time we see an eighteen wheeler rolling down the highway. Memorial service will be held on Saturday May 31st at 11:00 AM with a reception immediately following, at the Menke Funeral home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ.
