Frank Barnabei

Frank N. Barnabei, 84, of Sun City passed away March 13, 2009. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and was a WW II veteran of the US Army and was the recipient of the Purple Heart in Germany while serving under General Patton. He worked as an appliance repair technician and retired to Sun City in 1990 from Michigan. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, June; children Gwendolyn Louis Dean, Victoria Hanna William and Cynthia Owens Don; sisters Catherine Herbst and Genevieve Lake Gene; grandchildren Daryl Stewart, Reno Nye, Rex Nye and Clint Owens; great grandchildren Wyatt & Maya Nye, Samantha & Abbie Nye, Kaylie & Alex Owens and Justin Stewart. Frank was preceded in death by his grandson Kenny Owens in 2008. Private family services will be held at a later date in Michigan. Donations are suggested to the American Heart Association.
