Father Joseph Maher

Father Raymond Joseph Maher, 93, of Sun City, AZ passed away June 11, 2011. He was born in Mount Union, Iowa, to Thomas and Mary Agnes (Teberg) Maher. A retired Catholic Priest, Father Maher moved to Sun City in 2009 from California. Father Maher is survived by his brother Martin Maher; sisters Pauline Maher, Sister Mary C. Maher, O.P. and Bernadine Kerr; niece Sharon & Denny Allen; great niece Anne & Jerry Ramirez and 30 loving nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nieces. Visitation will be at 8:30 a.m. with rosary at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, Arizona.
