Evelyn Taylor

Evelyn Marie Taylor, 85, of Peoria, passed away November 3rd, 2017. Mrs. Taylor was born October 21st, 1932 in Humphreys County, Tennessee to Carter and Jessie Craft. She moved to Arizona as a young girl and spent most of her life in the west valley. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Evelyn worked as a postal clerk and then in banking until her retirement. Her husband, William O. “Bill” Taylor, precedes Evelyn in death. She is survived by one daughter Deborha and her husband Donal Childers of Lakeside and two grandchildren; a grandson Donal and his wife Jennifer (Campbell) Childers and granddaughter Delayna Childers. She is survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; also surviving her are two brothers, Gerald Craft and John Craft and three sisters, Connie Watkins, Sandra Heffington, and Deanna Rose. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, November 9th at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103 Ave. in Sun City. A memorial service will be held the following day on Friday, November 10th at 12:00 pm also at Menke Funeral Home. Condolences for the family may be left at the funeral home or this website.
