Eugene Jensen

Eugene Thompson Jensen, 87, of Sun City passed away April 5, 2008. Born in Woodstock, IL, Gene moved Sun City in 1982. Gene had 26 years of active Military/Uniformed service, and retired with the rank of Captain. He was awarded the Air Medal with several Oak Leaf Clusters for combat service with the 8th Air Force. He served with the Army of the United States and U.S. Air Force. He served the United States Public Health Service as an Environmental Engineer, he was First Deputy Director for the E.P.A. and was involved in water reclamation. He is survived by his wife Betty and many friends & family. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church, 12225 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
