Estol Cozene Sellars

Estol (Eck) Cozene Sellars Eck passed away and went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2012 in Peoria, Arizona at the age of 89. He was born on a farm near Dearborn, Missouri (Buchanan County) on February 19, 1922 to Elmer and Hazel Sellars. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Charles (Charlie) and Euel (Did) Sellars. Eck and his beautiful wife of 66 years, Margie A. Sellars, lived together in Sun City, Arizona until her passing in 2006. He continued to live in Sun City until being moved to Hospice on Christmas day. Eck is survived by his four children, Lee Sellars, Judy (Mark) Marcos, Carl (Diane) Sellars, and Kent (Judy) Sellars, fourteen grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren. Eck retired from the US Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1971 to Sun City after serving twenty-seven years active duty, including war time duties during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Margie and Eck were very active in the Sun City Lawn Bowls Club and a couple of dance clubs. They loved life and being with friends and family. Eck will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife at 1:00 p.m., Friday, Jan. 13, 2012 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, Arizona.
