Emerson Laibe

Emerson B. Laibe of Sun City passed away March 16, 2011. He was born in Pandora, Ohio, on May 1, 1909 to Edward W. and Lois (Bowers) Laibe. He attended school in Pandora and Kelvinator School of Refrigeration in Detroit. Lavera, whom he married in 1937 preceded him in death July 8, 2008. He is survived by one daughter Patricia (William J.) Baker of Peoria; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers. One sister and three brothers preceded him in death. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. with scripture service at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2011 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2011 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
