Eleanor Marini

Eleanor Mary Marini 89, passed peacefully in her sleep with her husband, Edwin by her side. June 10th marked their 70th wedding anniversary. Her life was well-lived and happy. Eleanor was born in Alliance, Ohio as was her husband Ed. They relocated to Arizona from Ravenna, Ohio in 2011 to be closer to their sons, Mark (Kim) and Paul (Joyce). She doted on and dearly loved her 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Eleanor spoiled everyone with her love of cooking and baking. Family and friends were cared for lovingly and were the most important part of her life. Eleanor raised 2 wonderful sons. She kept very busy attending their sporting events and band concerts. She was supportive of their career choices and proud of all their successes. She also supported Ed in his career as Music Supervisor/Band Director in the Ravenna Ohio School District. In addition to her husband Ed, her sons and their families in Arizona, she is also survived by her brother, Nick Streza and sister, Georgetta (Joe) Gusbar both of Alliance, Ohio, as well as many nieces and nephews which she adored. Eleanor brought great happiness to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.
