Elaine C. Nichols, born on April 3, 1941, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away on February 5, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. She embraced life with a remarkable dedication and an unwavering work ethic that marked her career at Sperry Flight System/Honeywell Aviation for over three decades. Starting her journey on the assembly line inspection for the space shuttle, Elaine showcased a commitment to her profession that was only matched by her determination to continue her education. She obtained an Associate Degree from Phoenix College and smoothly transitioned into an accounting role, where she ultimately retired, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and perseverance.

Her family was always Elaine's proudest accomplishment, and her love for them was evident in everything she did. Elaine is survived by her devoted children: John Nichols; Jean Francisco and her husband, Gerald; William Renick and his wife, Sarah; and Marjorie Christopherson. She also cherished her brother, Anthony Truskowski, and sister, Sharon Rose Truskowski. Her warm legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren: Bo Van Cleave and his wife, Leila; Ben Van Cleave; Jeremy Francisco; Jeremiah Francisco and his wife, Ashley; Rober Munoz; and Sara Munoz. The light of her life extended even further to her great-grandchildren, Serenity Van Cleave; Corbin Van Cleave; Bobby Jones; Jaidan Gawel; Brody Gawel; and Bailey Finocchario. Each family member held a special place in her heart, and she found immense joy in their successes and milestones.

Elaine's personality shone through her all-business approach to life and her caring spirit. She was an avid crafter; her journey began in her father’s footsteps as she made silver jewelry. In later years, she discovered a passion for scrapbooking and card-making, crafting personalized birthday cards that her family and friends eagerly anticipated each year. Her diverse talents included jewelry making, crocheting, scuba diving, and nurturing her beautiful orchids, reflecting her vibrant and creative nature.

Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Anthony and Evelyn (Marion) Truskowski, and her brother, Gerald Truskowski. Their memories lingered in her heart as she navigated life with their love and guidance.

Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of Elaine on February 12, 2025, at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center in Sun City, Arizona, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a visitation, before a Mass celebrating her life at Saint Clement of Rome Church Office at 10:00 AM on February 13, 2025.

Elaine's presence brought warmth and creativity to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy of love, craftsmanship, and determination will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
