Edward Young

Edward Young passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, on Wednesday evening April 27, 2016. Ed was a wonderful husband and loving father; he was a man that gave freely of his life to help his children and friends. His presence and wisdom will surely be missed more than words can say. Edward is survived by Iris, his wife of 57 beautiful years. Their love was unshakable and witnessed by all who knew them. They have 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Ed is survived by the four children he and Iris raised: Edward Jr. and his wife Valerie; John and his wife Jill; Ken and his wife Casey; Elaine and her former husband Bret; as well as his daughter Pam (former marriage) and her husband Grainger. Ed’s son, Edward Wayne, passed away while serving in the Army in Vietnam. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held on Friday May 6, 2016 at 10 a.m., at their home. “Dad, thank you for everything you gave us. For your guidance, your wisdom, your love, and the peace you brought to our lives. We love you.”
