Edward Doran

Edward Richard Doran (Dick) 84, passed away on 4/5/14 at his home, in Sun City, AZ. Dick grew up in Yakima, WA. He served in the Army during the Korean War where he was awarded the Purple Heart. Dick and his wife Patricia were happily married for 56 years. Dick worked as a manager at Bartell Drugs in Seattle, WA. After serving 31 years he retired to Sun City, AZ where he enjoyed bowling, golf and spending time with his family, friends and his beloved pet Abby. Dick is survived by his wife Patricia, his daughters Janine Doran and Allyse (Salvador) Pagan of Seattle, WA; his brother Mike and his sister Alice; his grandchildren: David (Elysia), Rachel and Sarah; great-grandchild Keegan and many other relatives and friends who all loved him dearly. Dick was a gentle soul who shared his positive attitude and good humor with everyone he encountered. He will live in our hearts forever. A memorial service will be held on 4/10/14. at 10am at St. Joachim and Anne Catholic Church, Sun City, AZ. Reception to follow at their home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Vincent DePaul.
