Edward Buckman

Edward “Ed” Buckman age 67 of Sun City West went to be with the Lord on Dec 10, 2011. He was born and raised in Kingston, New York. He moved to Phoenix with his wife Gloria after serving in the Air Force at Travis AFB California. He lived with his family in the valley for the next 44 yrs. He spent 10 years with Sperry Flight Systems before starting a career with Farmers Insurance. He later learned to play the organ and was with Fletcher Music Centers for 15 years where he taught organ. He is survived by his loving wife Gloria of 45 years, son Rick, daughter-in-law Nicole and grandchildren Dylan and Avalon of Peoria. He is also survived by his sisters Shirley Carlino and Nora Noonan and many nieces and nephews in upstate New York. Ed was a caring people person who enjoyed helping others. Ed was happiest when involved with music of all kinds. A celebration of his life will take place January 5th at 11 am at the Cathedral Christian Center 16635 N 51st Ave in Phoenix.
