Earl Francis Ney Age 83. Passed away October 9, 2010. Predeceased by the beloved mother of his six children, Frances Ney Eliot (nee Behan.) Beloved father of Dr. Peter (Yvonne) Ney, Kathleen (the late John Peltier) Ney, Michael Ney, Margaret (Joseph H. Moss, Jr.) Ney, Laura Ney, Joseph Ney. Dear grandfather of Jaylene (Brion), Theresa, Jack, Zoe. Dear brother of Dr. James (Kathy) Ney, Constance (Al) Pilz, the late Dr. John (Kathy) Ney, Louise (Bob) Kohls, Nancy (Bob) Harris, Luke (Barb) Ney and Mary (Tom) McAllister. Special thanks to Dr. Jane Ney and Perry Bozer for their kinship to Uncle Earl. Mr. Ney was a chemist, a graduate of Marquette University, and a veteran of WWII. In addition to being a scientist, Earl had an abiding love of nature and keen interest in philosophy. Services 2:00 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the E.F. Ney Fund to be divided between his two favorite charities, PBS and the Nature Conservancy.
