Earl (Bud) Kosted

Bud went to be with his Lord on April 14, 2012. He was born in Fairland, Oklahoma on December 24, 1928 to Martin and Mabel Kosted who preceded him in death. His loving wife Rose and daughter LaWanda also preceded him in death. Bud was a World War 11 Navy veteran and a member of Cross of Glory Lutheran Church in Peoria, Arizona. He was a fisherman, hunter and woodworker. He is survived by his son Rick (Betty) Barfield, Daughter Vivian Rippey, sisters Loretta Goeglein, Mildred Franzmier, brother Lloyd (Edith) Kosted, several grand children, great grand children and nephews. Memorial service will be held April 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Cross of Glory Ev. Lutheran Church, 10111 W Jomax Road, Peoria, Arizona 85383, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, tuition assistance fund. A memorial service and interment next to his wife Rose, of 58 years, will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501 on May 11, 2012 at 3:00 PM.
