beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on September 4, 2012. Dorothy was in the Women’s Army Corp where she served as an airplane radio mechanic during World War II. She met her husband, Richard Cline, during the war and Dorothy had an honorable discharge after she and Richard were married. She remained an Air Force wife for 20 years. In her retirement, she ran God’s Provision at Valley Cathedral Church, which provided food and clothing to those without. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Richard, and is survived by her children, Sue Leonard (Jim) and Richard Cline (Mary Jo), by her grandchildren Craig, Christine, Anne and Ritchie, by her great grandchildren Nikki, Chelsea, Vivienne and Bryce, and by her great-great grandchild Ethan. Dorothy’s family will miss her terribly, but will remember the many great times of fun and laughter. A private service with full military honors will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions by made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of the Valley.
