Doris Fisher

Doris P. Fisher passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017. Doris was born on July 8, 1927 in Rogers, TX and moved to Carefree, AZ in 1969 with her husband J K Fisher and her two daughters. Doris is survived by her younger sister, Frances Brown of Artesia, NM and brother. Leslie Gandy of Stephenville, TX. Doris raised two amazing daughters, Karen Jean Chirico and Anita Kay Cohen. Both raised families of their own in the Phoenix area along with the support and love of their grandparents. In addition to her daughters and siblings, Doris is also survived by Anita’s husband, Jeff Cohen, her grandchildren Sean Cohen, Tyler Chirico, Ryan Chirico, Christopher Chirico and his wife Sarah - - and their beautiful new son, Dax Chirico. Kindness, faith and family were the most important values that Doris lived her life by. Even though she would describe herself as shy, she lived life as a loving and caring mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. Doris will be buried with her husband J K Fisher at the National Cemetery of Arizona.
