Dennis DeVault

Dennis Robert DeVault, 82, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2023.  

Born on July 11, 1941, in Abilene, Texas, he was raised in Tucson, Arizona where he attended Tucson High School and graduated from the University of Arizona. In 1959, he enlisted in the US Navy, serving aboard the USS Mahan until 1962 when he was honorably discharged and enlisted into the Reserves. Dennis spent his later years making the most of life with his partner Sandee Holiday. They lived and loved fully, enjoying adventures and travels together. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Muriel Dorothy DeVault (Sutherland) and Robert Martin DeVault; as well as brother Bruce Martin DeVault. He is survived by his children, Kimberly Jo DeVault, 54, and Brian Douglas DeVault, 51.  

Dennis enjoyed genealogy, crossword puzzles, reading, dancing, pickleball, golf, bowling, and karaoke with friends. He was known for his authenticity, kindness, and humor, leaving an enduring impact on those fortunate enough to know him.  

Services will be held on Monday, November 6.
