Denise Elizabeth Zeimen

Denise Elizabeth Zeimen, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away on November 27, 2024 in Sun City, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and passion. Born on November 14, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, Denise was a beacon of joy and warmth throughout her lifetime.

Denise cherished her childhood, spent alongside her sister Janet. The two girls shared a profound love for horses, becoming proud owners of their own as teenagers. They would ride the trails along the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan in Lincoln Park, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Denise’s ambition blossomed early in life; she worked diligently after school and during summers to support her passion for equestrian pursuits. This early determination mirrored her work ethic throughout her life.

Denise was a graduate of Waller High School in Chicago. Her commitment to her education and professional development was evident as she earned her Illinois real estate broker's license, along with numerous professional designations. These accomplishments paved the way for her to own her own real estate office in Schaumburg, Illinois, where she served the community with integrity and dedication.

Those who had the pleasure to know Denise often spoke of her magnetic personality. She was a special person whose kindness and caring nature touched the hearts of many. Her great sense of humor brought joy and laughter to those around her, ensuring that every moment spent with her was one filled with light and love.

An avid reader, Denise found solace in the pages of countless books, each story adding depth to her already rich life. She also enjoyed playing mahjong, often gathering with friends and family to share in laughter and camaraderie.

Denise is survived by her adoring husband, Dennis Zeimen, and their son, Dale Zeimen, and daughter-in-law Jeneane. She took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Zachary and Jessica, whose lives were brightened by her love. Denise's family continued to grow with her daughter's children, Britney Walters and Angelina Pyatt, along with three great-grandchildren, who will all carry her spirit in their hearts. Her sister Janet Orenic remains to cherish their shared memories and love.

Denise was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Deborah Zeimen, and her sister Ruth Martini, both of whom she missed dearly.

As we remember Denise Elizabeth Zeimen, we celebrate a remarkable woman whose laughter, kindness, and unwavering love will echo through the lives she touched. Her spirit will undoubtedly remain alive in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate to know her. 

Service will be at a later day in late spring 2025 in Pinetop, Arizona at the Angel's Rest Columbarium.
