Denis B.W. Moyer

Denis B.W. Moyer, born on June 23, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, in Surprise, Arizona. Denis's life was marked by his dedicated service as a truck driver for Kellogg's, a career that he retired from after many years of hard work.

Denis was a person known for his good sense of humor, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He had a passion for community involvement, which was demonstrated through his active participation in the Moose Lodge. Denis was a proud member of the Moose Legion and devoted significant time to volunteer work, especially before the passing of his beloved wife, Barbara Moyer. Their bond was cherished, and her absence will be felt deeply.

He is survived by his brother Mike Moyer and sister-in-law Linda Moyer, who provided him with unwavering support throughout his life. Denis is also survived by his stepdaughter Pam Risor, son-in-law Randy Risor, stepson Steven Barber, and stepdaughter in law Pam Barber and Michelle Barber, with whom he built lasting memories and connections.

A visitation in honor of Denis will take place on January 23, 2025, at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, located at 12420 N 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351, starting at 4:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. Friends, family, and all whose lives were touched by Denis are encouraged to attend as we celebrate his life and share in the memories of a wonderful man who left an indelible mark on those around him.
