David Nimmo

David Lawrence Nimmo was born in Santa Monica, California to Patricia Lynch and Theodore Nimmo on October 27th, 1958. A beloved brother, mentor, and friend to many, David peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with Covid-19 on December 18th, 2021. David is survived by his beloved wife: Diana Farnsworth, his mother Patricia Lynch, Father and Stepmother Ted and Dee Nimmo, brother Richard Nimmo (Pauline), Sister Robin French (John), Children: Crystal Nimmo, Amber Brazeau, Elise Mercer, Joshua Murphy, Sarah Jenks, Morgan Fuller, Matthew Borunda and several grandchildren who he adored. David lived a life of charity and compassion, finding true joy in his service to his family, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and community. David’s love for humanity drove him to serve God and Country for 23 years in the United States Marine Corps as a CWO-3. He never hesitated to provide a helping hand to anyone in need. David’s beautiful soul continues to inspire everyone who was blessed enough to know and love him. Viewing will be held on Dec 29th , 2021 at Menke Funeral Home, Sun City AZ from 4pm – 7pm. A memorial service will be held at The Church of Latter-Day Saints in Avondale, AZ on Dec 30th from 10am – 11:30am. A graveside service will be held at the National Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Phoenix AZ on Dec. 30th at 12:30 for all who wish to attend. Following the graveside service, a celebration of his life will be held at his home.
