David M. Eichner—loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather—died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 12, 2015, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident involving a drunk driver in Phoenix, Arizona. An avid fan, Dave was always willing to talk, play, or watch sports… especially if it involved his beloved LA Dodgers. He wore a captivating smile that lit up the room and was the first person to greet a stranger with a friendly handshake or warm embrace. Dave enjoyed a good game of cribbage and challenged his friends whenever the opportunity arose. His wit and dry sense of humor were shared and appreciated by all. As a real estate agent, he took pleasure in meeting and helping others. However, his greatest joy was spending time with family; especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. Dave is survived by his wife, Shelley, and children, Michael (Katie), Sarah (Caleb), and Kim (Jerrad); two sisters, Phyllis (Armando) and Carol (Larry); his nephew, Adem (Hilery), two grandchildren, Jude and Juliet; cousins Jody, Jeff, Larry, Stephanie, Peter Jay, Bonnie, Steve, Tommy, and Gary; and many whose lives he had touched. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 25, at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel in Sun City, Arizona.
