David was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, where his lifelong passion for the Buffalo Bills began. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for two decades, from 1955 to 1975, dedicating himself to an adventurous career in counter espionage. He may have been chronologically 88 when he died, but he was really an unstoppable 18 year old for 72 years. He loved nothing more than a good laugh and a good time.
In his later years, David found joy in cheering on his beloved Bills, telling jokes and spending time with his wife Rita until she passed in 2020. He loved visiting with family. He was a widower twice over, and leaves behind four children, three grandchildren, one great-grandson, his cousin Diane, and several nieces and nephews.
We will never forget you, David. You enjoyed life right up to the last. May your memory bring comfort to all who mourn your passing.
