Daniel Russell

Daniel Davis Russell – resident of Murfreesboro, TN and former longtime Glendale resident passed away June 24, 2011 at the age of 94. Daniel was born May 29, 1917 in Pontotoc, Mississippi. He served his country in the US Army Corp of Engineers in WWII as a mechanic in New Guinea. He married Lorene Reagan March 27, 1948 and she precedes him in death. Survivors include his children: Samuel Ray Russell (Jeanette) of Buckeye; Sandra Kay Russell of Murfreesboro, TN; John Dale Russell (Julie) of Phoenix and James Don Russell of Peoria. 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. with funeral services at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Interment to follow at Sunwest Cemetery in El Mirage, AZ.
