Cynthia Maedke (nee Krueger)

Born July 15, 1923 to Allan and Viola Krueger in Hilbert, WI, passed away June 27, 2012 in Peoria, AZ. Cynthia married Milton A. Maedke on Dec. 18, 1944 in Gatesville, TX. She held several jobs in her lifetime but her most important one was raising and caring for her family. Cynthia was an active member of Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum, WI for many years. In her later years she was an active member of United Church of Christ of Sun City, AZ. Survivors include daughters Carolyn A. Schmidt (Vernon) and Diane K. Desens (Donald) and son James A. Maedke (Rachel), 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends. Preceding her in death are her brothers Russell Krueger and Allan Krueger, sisters Aliene Krueger and Marlene McBride, granddaughter Brenda K. Schmidt, and great grandson Skyler K. Schmidt. Visitation will be at 8:00 am with services at 8:30 am on Tuesday July 3, 2012 at Good Shepherd Chapel, 10323 W. Olive Avenue, Peoria, AZ 85345.
